INTERNSHIP AT ROYAL IHC

Royal IHC was interested in developing an Augmented Reality for their service engineers to use on their 100+ meter long ships. They gave me, as intern, the assignment to come up with a concept and project initiation plan.

The initial step was to come in contact with the service engineers which turned out to be harder than expected. Throughout the project I was able to build a (sometimes remote) relationship with many service engineers at Royal IHC. Around their work environment and needs I build a concept.

With the concept in mind I developed the whole project initiation plan (following PRINCE2) including organisation charts, scope breakdowns and much more. With the project initiation plan, concept document, a promo video and a PowerPoint I was able to convince the management of IHC to further develop the concept.
